Under the leadership of the relevant state departments, NMTC(TJ) assume the responsibilities and functions as follows:
1. Undertaking sampling test, supervision and inspection work requested by the relevant administrative departments;
2. Undertaking the product inspection of new motorcycle announcements and environmental information disclosure entrusted by enterprises;
3.Undertaking product quality inspection work at the request of certification bodies within the scope authorized by CCC;
4. Undertaking the quality inspection of voluntary products certification issued by certification bodies;
5. Undertaking the product quality inspection work entrusted by enterprises;
6. Undertaking the products quality inspection of products exported to the U.S. and Europe as entrusted by enterprises;
7. Undertaking the quality arbitration and inspection work commissioned by customers;
8. Undertaking and participating in preparation and revision of the international standards, national standards, industry standards and technical regulations for motorcycle and its parts, and validation of various standards;
9. Conducting R&D in motorcycle and its parts, new testing technology, method and special testing equipment;
10. Organizing international cooperation, certification, reviews, and technical communication in product quality inspection;
11. Providing technical support and services to the government departments, industry associations, technical committee and enterprises.
